St. Joseph’s Environmental & Heritage Centre is
housed within St. Joseph’s Church. The centre is able to provide for a
large range of uses from a place for quiet contemplation to a base for
extreme sports using the surrounding environment.
We are able to cater
for groups of differing sizes, ages and abilities. Although the centre
has its own well appointed kitchen it can also provide a wide range
of refreshments through it’s partnership with Cwmaman Institute and Public
Hall.

ODYSSEY consists of a crowd of 34 monumental wood figures.
Most of these figures were carved from lime trees that grew in the artist’s
mother’s home village of Dominikowice in the foothills of the
Carpathian
Mountains in
Poland. The figures symbolise the artist’s
ancestors and a search for ancestral and sculptural roots, and have followed
his mothers’ journey from the Nazi slave camps of
Germany to the
UK where she settled after WW2. Join us in
this unique exhibitions journey throughout
Britain.
